I truly enjoyed the place, its outstanding and excellent breakfast.
The hotel was a good choice for enjoying a lovely area, next to alternative restaurants and bars, and old center or hill of tallinn. It was attractive, perfect and with a comfortable bed. Generally everything was well-maintained, though the bathroom was very old. I had perfect food for breakfast for every taste. Very central location of this economical venue was a bonus. There was an a la carte restaurant nearby.

We had a confirmed booking through Booked.net, but when we arrived to the hotel we were informed that we had been transferred to another hotel. No explanation was given. We were, however, requested to pay Hotel L'ermitage for the booked room. We were swept of to the cab and we were moved to hotel Susi nearly 20 minutes by tram from the old town. In hotel Susi the shower did not work properly and the walls were thin. We had to use trams and taxis to get to the city center. When making our booking we wanted to be close to the old town. In emails after our visit to Tallinn we were informed that there had been an unexpected changes in a group and therefore we had to be sent to another hotel. All hotels in downtown Tallinn were fully booked.
We were offered a one-night stay for free and after the visit the hotel L'ermitage has offered to reimburse the public transportation costs and the difference in the hotels room expenses (Hotel Susi was cheaper than L'ermitage-according to Booked.net-prices) or a dinner free of charge, We were not at all happy with changes, the reason for the changes and how the hotel handled the situation.

The place was close to Old town and the internet was great...The two first floors had wifi but the rest was cable. The internet was working all the time have no problems with the skype or anything else like that. The walk to old town was very short. The whole time I stayed there on only called a cab twice once to pick me up from the airport and to take me back to the airport. I even walked to the port to go to Helsinki. So things where not to far...Over all I enjoyed my stay there...

II lived in 12 hotels in Tallinn - it is the best.
It is very difficult to get to an underground parking.

excellent access to old town and nearby dining spots
I loved how the old town was just a few minutes' walk away, making it super easy to explore the charming streets and historic sites, and there's a great variety of restaurants just around the corner, giving me plenty of options for meals after my walks.

The room was cosy and comfortable, the receptionist was very nice and polite. Very nice fireplace in the hotel lobby and free WiFi. The hotel has a parking opportunity in the cellar which was very positive for me. Unfortunately I didn't have time to enjoy breakfast.
I visited the hotel in december 2010 and the driveway from the underground parking lot was very slippery.

The hotel is very cozy and confortable. Rather convenient location. Excellent restaurant! Amazing tomato soup - please everybody try it!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. They even charged my devices while I was in downtown. I have very good impressions.
Never ask a smoking room. The smell is terrible there. Even for a smoking person.
